Increase Take Up of Student Services

Todays young people are arguably under more pressure than ever before. UniSmart surveys show that the top five concerns for new first year students include Money, Making Friends and Passing Exams in 3 different countries. In the UK concern over "Having Support" has risen from being 13th biggest concern(2009) to 5th biggest concern (2010) in just one year.

UniSmart makes a difference

  • We all know its vital

The importance of student support in all it's myriad forms cannot be underestimated. Many dedicated and talented people are involved in student care. The challenge is often in getting them there. Young students are renowned for considering themselves to be 'bullet proof'. Until the wheels fall off. Sometimes tragically, this can be all too late.

  • UniSmart gets them there

One of our strongest reoccurring messages during UniSmart is around seeking help. Over and over again whilst your students are being amazed, amused and befriended with state of the art communication techniques the message is continually reinforced 'Seek Help...Seek help...Seek help...' Not surprising then that many of our first time Universities experience a sharp rise in uptake of student services after including UniSmart in their induction activities.

The program was once again, fantastic and very, very well received by our residents.
