As the daughter of a comedian and an actress, Lizzie grew up travelling all over New Zealand. She made her own professional debut from within her mother’s heavily pregnant belly on popular TV show Funny Business.
After high school Lizzie moved to London and trained at The Globe Theatre with the NZ Young Shakespeare Company. Returning home, she began a degree at the University of Canterbury, completing a few years before the lure of the family thespian trade became too strong to ignore. She has been a professional actor, writer and variety entertainer since 2010.
With a skill set that includes theatre, escapology, circus, illusion and mentalism, Lizzie regularly performs around the world at events as diverse as the Dubai International Comedy Festival, the Rugby World Cup and the World Buskers Festival. For six years she was a member of The Court Jesters, performing in New Zealand’s longest running improvisational comedy show, Scared Scriptless.
Lizzie delights in performing to a diverse audience and this has taken her all the way from the infamous Hunter Square in Edinburgh to the most prestigious corporate events.
Lizzie joined the UniSmart family in 2016. After witnessing first hand how live performance can empower and motivate people, she enjoys having the opportunity through UniSmart to deliver positive messages in an exciting format for young adult audiences.
